Madonnna Inn is so incredibly important to my family and I had fun putting together my favorite photos from our last visit! My parents spent their honeymoon with you guys exactly 40 years ago (in November) and every single year since then we have gone together as a family to celebrate during thanksgiving break. My sister and I were born in the same month as their anniversary so we also celebrate our birthdays with each visit. Now that my sister and I both have families of our own we spend a lot of time making sure to get fabulous rooms that are adjoining or at least next door. Being together at the Madonna Inn is a family tradition we have never missed - fun new rooms, time at the pool, massages at the spa, fancy dress up dinner at the steak house with balloons and a huge pink champagne cake to celebrate, shopping at the upstairs stores, picking a new colored goblet and matching family shirts, and breakfast at the cafe before we leave with the best hot chocolate ever. Growing up we were always so excited to choose next years room - and I've had so much fun sharing that experience with my own kids. This past year was especially important to them since they had been begging to stay in the Love Nest for years! My mom likes to be more practical and put us all in the Harvard Square or Pick and Shovel but lately we've had fun exploring more exciting rooms. We recently added a new tradition of lunch from the pool cafe - we've been blown away how good the food is - the fruit tray is an especially great treat.
